It’s often harder to get out of the house and do things with dementia

Dementia can be a hurdle to the practical side of going out such as making plans, getting to places and doing activities. Dementia also can make it harder to communicate and interact with people outside your household.

Many people with dementia enjoy doing things outside the house. For some people, activities and people they see outside the home give their life meaning.
